As a model builder and artist I still enjoy using good old fashioned Testors Oil Enamels when I can, just as I did as a young man in the 60's. Of course, acrylics have revolutionized the hobby and allow for so many new effects. Not to mention airbrushing!

I specialize in building and painting customized retro model kits. Each model can be customized by color, enhancements or anything that will meet your specific need. I've done Sci-Fi, Monsters, superheros and Classic TV, Movie characters, Military and Vintage buildings for train layouts etc.
As an artist receiving training over the years in the classroom and private instruction, I learned to give the model an artistic look by contrasting colors and using color mixing, shading, dry brushing, washes, pastels and air brushing techniques.
To me models are no longer toys, but works of art to enjoy and display. Building models enables one to use constructing skills and then art skills. It's even been proven to be healthy! I can attest to that!!!
Currently I live in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania with my lovely bride, Eugenia, married for 32 years and counting (wow!) and have two married daughters, one living nearby and the other soon relocating to the Philly area so we as a family will all be close by.
I hope you enjoy the models I build and that you keep checking back for new completed ones. I personally hand-paint and build all my models. I spend many hours on each piece I do. It takes much more than one might think to build a model kit and to do a quality job. This includes everything from washing, gluing, trimming, puttying, sanding and re-sanding and of course the actual painting. All parts of the process are fun!

BTW, I am Located in Willow Grove, Pa and I have a nice good size art studio in my home, however, please do not ask to come to the art studio to pick up a model or otherwise because if I allowed that I may have to start divorce proceedings!
