Welcome to Mr. Enamel's Models...

I specialize in building and painting scale models (usually resin or plastic) of your favorite classic movie or TV shows. They are perfect for anywhere in your home or office to bring back fond memories of all the great shows of the 50's thru 80's.

You can be sure that all my models are carefully built and painted. I've been building models for customers since 2008 (I also built models as a young man in the 60's). My motto is "Building Fond Memories" and to do it with old school workmanship. My models are carefully prepared, glued, puttied, sanded to smooth out the seams, primed, and then most importantly artistically painted with the look and feel of the character or subject. A final sealing coat is applied for the best protection and for the appropriate effect (which can be dull, glossy or somewhere in between). Contrary to my name Mr. Enamel, these days I rarely use enamel paints as I did as a young man, but primarily use various types of acrylics except when airbrushing where I strongly prefer good old fashioned oil based enamels.

As you can see on my website, I do a wide variety of models including Monsters, SyFy, Superheroes, Anime and other TV and Movie show figures and subjects (licensed kits only). Certainly, I focus on providing quality service as I hold high respect for people and most importantly that I can get the look and feel, or essence, of the subject. That is what I love most. I perform initial research for each character to get the real look and feel and then combine it with an artistic look. So, if you like that, get your project started today!
